Return & Refund Policy

At Ameera Gems, we value your trust and are dedicated to providing an exceptional gemstone purchasing experience. Every gemstone we sell is ethically sourced, carefully inspected, and certified for authenticity. This policy ensures transparency and fairness for all our global customers — whether you are located in Sri Lanka, the UAE, or anywhere around the world.

1. Our Commitment

Each gemstone purchased from Ameera Gems undergoes detailed gemological verification. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may be eligible for a return or refund under the conditions below.

2. Eligibility for Returns

  • Returns accepted within 7 calendar days of delivery.
  • Item must be unused, unmounted, undamaged, and returned with its certificate & invoice.
  • Custom-made, engraved, or resized gemstones are non-refundable.
  • Any gemstone altered after purchase is ineligible.

3. Non-Returnable Items

  • Custom or special-order gemstones.
  • Mounted gemstones or jewelry settings after purchase.
  • Discounted or clearance sale items.
  • Gift cards, promotional items, or giveaways.

4. Return Procedure

  1. Email returns@ameeragems.com within 7 days with your order number and reason for return.
  2. We’ll issue a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and guide you on shipping.
  3. Use insured courier (DHL, FedEx, or Aramex). Customer bears shipping cost unless item is defective.

5. Inspection & Quality Verification

Returned gemstones are reviewed by our gemologists to confirm authenticity, condition, and documentation. Verification may take up to 7 business days. Refunds are processed only after successful inspection.

6. Refunds

  • Refunds issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
  • International refund times may vary due to banking delays.
  • Shipping, insurance, and handling fees are non-refundable.

7. Exchanges

Exchanges are not currently supported. You may return your item (if eligible) and place a new order once a refund is processed.

8. Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If you receive a damaged or incorrect gemstone, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Upon verification, we will provide a free replacement or a full refund including shipping costs.

9. International Orders

We proudly serve clients globally. Please note:

  • All customs duties, import taxes, and local fees are the customer’s responsibility.
  • Customs delays are outside our control.
  • Returns from overseas must comply with Sri Lankan and UAE export regulations.

10. Authenticity & Certification

Every Ameera Gems stone is natural and certified. Certificates are issued by recognized gem labs (GIA, IGI, GIC, NGJA). Refunds require returning the gemstone and certificate together.

11. Liability Disclaimer

Ameera Gems is not responsible for loss or damage during return shipping or for gemstones altered by third-party jewelers. Customers are strongly advised to insure all returns for full value.
